You don't want to miss out on this amazing lineup of wellness presentations! The Rumford Police Department is excited to announce, and be hosting, the inaugural Western Maine Wellness Conference at Mountain Valley High School. This event is a capstone for Rumford PD as we wrap up our two year Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act (LEMHWA) award. We hope you will take advantage of this 2-day learning and networking event. Presenters will be covering an array of wellness topics specifically focusing on police, fire, EMS, and dispatchers, along with their significant others.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This conference is intended for all first responders and their spouses/significant others, including police, fire, EMS and dispatchers.
TRAINING TOPICS:
COST: Tuition for this 2-day training is covered compliments of the Rumford Police Department thanks to a Officer Wellness Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice. Each attendee will be invoiced a non-refundable $50 fee to cover the use of the facility, and cover costs for snacks and lunch for both days. Bring your spouse for an additional $25.
