Serving since: Hired by Rumford PD in 2020. Prior part-time work at Old Orchard Beach PD.
Specialties / Responsibilities: General Patrol.
Personal Message: Life is a journey, not a destination.
Hobbies/Interests: Hunting. Fishing. Hiking. Snowmobiling. Woodworking.
Passion: I knew from a young age I wanted to pursue a profession in the emergency response field. I explored working as an EMT and firefighter. I later learned law enforcement would allow me to gain experience in all disciplines. Being a police officer comes with a ton on responsibility and stress, but I am constantly rewarded from the positive interactions I have been fortunate to experience. As an officer, you are given the opportunity to save lives, make communities safer, and help others make better life choices. Additionally, I enjoy being an officer for the unknown. Every shift you are exposed to new calls, which may be similar natured to those you have previously investigated, but are seldom the same. It is no shock negative public perception of law enforcement has increased in recent years, I will work hard to help restore this relationship between police and the community.
